Craigs cools on Auckland Airport as BlackRock keeps buying

Global investment house BlackRock has emerged as the biggest shareholder of Auckland International Airport, steadily building its stake after the city’s council sold down its holding in December.

The US investment house, with US$5 trillion under management, now owns 9.2% of the airport operator, up from 8.2% a year ago when it last notified the local stock exchange of its holding.
